Last Year's Christmas Decorations

This was last year's entry way Christmas decorations. I really liked the clean look. This year it's going to be a little different. I got another bookcase. So instead of laying it on it's side I decided to stand them up.

I have a lot "decorative crap," as my boyfriend would call it. So I'm not too sure what to do with it all this year. I have a LOVE for peppermint decorations at Christmas time, but I don't want to discriminate the rest of my Christmas decorations... Such a dilema!

Some Christmas Spirit

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! I do have an affinity to peppermints, so I thought that I would dedicate my tree to all peppermints. This is what I came up with....

"A Marty Stanley Sunset"

     I've been blessed to know the very talented artist named Marty Stanley, who painted all of these beautiful landscapes. He has captured the beauty and I'd even say the feeling you get when you're in the California Delta. There truly isn't another place on earth that calms me. When I look at his paintings I feel like I can breathe.

    I wish that he was still here to paint the delta; even though he has passed, I know that everyone still thinks of him often when we see a breath-taking sunset. Many people still refer to him when they see a breath-taking sunset, calling it "a Marty Stanley Sunset."
